I'M SERENA
Wedding and Lifestyle photographer based in Barcelona, Spain.
My roots are in a little town near Lake Maggiore (Italy) and surrounded by mountains, in the north of Italy but I moved to Barcelona to follow love and a dream; two powerful forces that drive our life’s choices. You can easily guess what my dream was.
I love to create authentic images full of emotion with a creative touch. I like finding beauty in little ordinary things. I will capture every unique moment, from the morning preparations to the dance floor. The laughs, the tears, the moments that you’ll look back on, 20 years from now, and be able to feel the same feelings you did when the photo was taken.
I'm passionate about catching the unposed, in-between moments but I know that traditional photos are important so we can make that happen too!
My priority is to make sure that you feel comfortable and are enjoying your time.
RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME
I started taking photographs in 2008 with a Canon film camera, my father's precious legacy, and with a very small digital compact camera.
The first photoshoot I ever did (I think I was 9) was a styled shoot with my Barbies. For the second, the model was my hamster.
My favorite meals are breakfast and aperitivo.
I’m a very empathetic and sensitive person and most likely I’ll shed some tears during your vows and the bride-father dance.
I graduated in Art History (at the DAMS of Bologna) and later on at the Academy of Fine Arts.
I am still fascinated by the power of the camera to capture fleeting moments.
For me this is a magic!
